5/28 Foodie Friday and Memorial Hero WOD #3

U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Christopher “Otis” Raible, 40, of North Huntington, Pennsylvania, was killed by insurgents during an attack on Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, on Sept. 14, 2012. Raible joined the Marines in 1995, served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and was the commanding officer of Marine Attack Squadron 211 out of Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Arizona. Raible trained CrossFit with his wife, Donnella, and daughter Catherine. His favorite movements were deadlifts, squats, overhead presses and bench presses. He is survived by his wife, Donnella; daughters, Catherine and Allison; and son, Brian.

Are you ready for Memorial Day Weekend? This weekend is the traditional start of summer. It's also a weekend of reflection and moments of silence to honor those who gave their life in service to our country. May your Memorial Weekend celebrations include a moment to honor the real American Heroes among us.
Of course it's grilling weather and many of us will (FINALLY!) gather with friends and family this weekend.
Our house is full with our siblings and nephews. What a treat it is to once again, gather with our brothers and act like kids again!
