How do you define good nutrition? If you asked 100 people, you will surely get 100 different answers. We have been pondering this question ourselves, and find that we really align with how the folks at Precision Nutrition define good nutrition. 
Good Nutrition:
  1. Properly controls energy balance - eat enough to support activity
  2. Provides nutrient density - eat real, whole food that provides plenty of vitamins and minerals 
  3. Achieves health, body composition and performance goals - eat real, whole food, and perhaps some supplements to keep your hormones in balance, your body lean, and your muscles fueled
  4. Is honest and outcome based - you are aware of how much you eat, you pay attention to the quality of your meals, and you measure your results (body measurements, workout results,etc.)
  5. Is sustainable for both us and the planet - you make food choices that have a positive impact on our local economy and environment. 
Do you agree with this definition of good nutrition? Is there something else you would add? Did yesterday's nutrition choices prepare you for toady's workout? We hope so!

Wendler Overhead Squat Week 1.1
5 reps at 50% 1RM 3 2 1 Tempo ALL REPS
3 reps at 65% 1RM
5 reps at 75% 1RM 
5 reps at 80% 1RM 
Max reps at 85% 1RM
then
Four rounds for time of:
400m run
50 Air squats
