We continue our handstand and hand balancing skill work today. Getting inverted is great for developing proprioception, balance, core strength, and developing your mental toughness by working through fear and discomfort.
We will spend some time working on handstands against the wall. Watch today's Technique Tuesday video for a preview of the progression we'll follow today. If you have a well developed handstand, you might be surprised at how much shoulder mobility we'll require of you today. When the front of your body is towards the wall, your shoulders must be strong and open. If you have shoulder mobility issues, we'll work on that.
We'll also work on core strength today with hollow holds, hollow rocks, and press to headstand or press to handstand progressions. Let's have some gymnastics fun!
