12/22 Wednesday - Festivus Feats of Strength

Today we are making our 12 days of Christmas WOD the official 2021 Festivus Feats of Strength:)

You are a genius! 

Everyone is really, really good at something. Taken out of context, that ‘genius’ may seem trivial, but it’s a sign of larger things. One of my favorite things about James is his genius for packing the car for roadtrips. I discovered this genius about 6 months after we started dating. We took 30 days to drive from Chico, California to Cabo San Lucas and back. We took surfing, climbing, and mountain biking gear in addition to our camping gear. James somehow made it all fit into his Jeep Cherokee with room for me and our 100lb dog, Thunder.  
We spend a lot of time finding ‘bright spots’ for True Spirit members. Our collective pursuit-fitness-provides a great opportunity for nurturing genius. When one of you does something for the first time, we are all elated. It’s really easy to find genius in the gym. A couple of weeks ago we spent 5 days celebrating your bright spots during Podium Week. 
It might be hard to uncover genius–or forget genius–outside the gym. When your husband, who is a genius at making coffee, leaves the door open too long, or forgets to take out the garbage, try to focus on the coffee today. You don’t have to forget about the other stuff, but tell him that his genius is appreciated.
The quiet uncovering of genius is a crime. If you see something, say something.
