Aliesha, Why Do You CrossFit?1. What was your fitness life like before you started training with True Spirit CrossFit? Sporadic and intermittent; usually related to hiking or short times with a trainer; working through shoulder injury that limits my mobility. Injury is frustrating but the coaches have been great in finding adaptations and providing encouragement to keep pushing. 2. What brought you to True Spirit CrossFit in the first place? TSCF had small classes and after speaking with Leslie felt comfortable giving it a try. 3. What was your first impression? TSCF is open and accepting; everyone is kind and provides encouragement. Sense of community and support. 4. What was the first thing fun or positive thing you experienced while training with us? I Completed Femme Fatale week- it was tough but I made it through with coaching and support from the class! 5. Are you working on any special CrossFit related skill now? Working toward improving upper body strength and mobility. 6. How has you life changed since training with TSCF? I have more energy, feel stronger, and more confidence in my physical abilities 7. What's your favorite True Spirit CrossFit memory? Signed up for a Saturday class and was surprised to find it was a hero work out (Eagle; I think) and was able to complete it. Do you have someone your life who needs True Spirit CrossFit? Forward this blog to them and encourage them to schedule a No Sweat Intro with Coach Leslie

She busts some common food myths and discusses the importance of adding more fruits and veggies to your plate. You don't have to be a regular member of our gym to join us! The Challenge can be done from ANYWHERE! You just need to have access to Habit Share App and a food scale like this.
This challenge is all about eating more fruits and vegetables. However, I have also added a Locavore element to it. Much like challenges in the past, you will enter your score daily online and earn points. Here's the point breakdown:
