We are starting an overhead squat series. The overhead squat (OHS) is a challenge for many of us. It requires lots of hip and shoulder flexibility. Don't fret if your OHS is not yet well developed. We are gong to be working on this for a while. Today, you might be working with just a PVC and doing lots of mobility. Get ready to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Namaste.

How are you feeling after Femme Fatale Week? We hope you had a restful weekend and were diligent with your mobility and recovery practices. Today's MWod is all about the psoas and hip flexors. These tissues can get really jacked up with deadlifting and squatting.
In the yoga world, it is widely believed that our emotions (stress, anger, anxiety) are held in our hips. You just might find that opening your hips and psoas releases these feelings. Today is our last Femme Fatale week workout. We are celebrating our love for all of these women with Marguerita and mimosas. Marguerita was introduced to the CrossFit community on January 15, 2014. We first did it here on September 26, 2014. Stick around after today's 9am class for mimosas and a much needed yoga class at 10:30.
