For the past few Foodie Fridays I have been exploring how to eat according to your Macros. Eating according to Macros means eating a precise amount of protein, carbohydrates and fat. There are several methods to calculate the amount of Macros you should eat, and last week I explored 4 popular Macro programs.
This week I am sharing with you a nice video tutorial from the gals at Macrostax on how to weigh and measure your food.
Of course, it wouldn't be Foodie Friday without a yummy recipe. Beets and carrots are in season and my absolute favorite way to eat them is roasted. A few weeks ago I stumbled across this fabulous farm to table website, Dishing up the Dirt. I tried the grilled radish with radish greens chimichurri and it was amazing! I hope you enjoy these delectable roasted beets and carrots with with miso yogurt. Be sure to buy Lifeline yogurt and local honey to make the sauce all good for our Bozeman Locavore Challenge.
