We are reopening this Friday for designated training sessions!
Gov Bullock announced last week that gyms can open May 15 as part of the Phase 1 reopening plan for Montana. We are SO excited to begin training you in person. We have a lengthy list of best practices for the fitness industry, in addition to a few of our own, that we will follow. Please understand that some things will change and we will do our best to communicate the most up to date information we have. First, not all of us are ready to return to classes so we will continue to remote coach everyone who wants it (which is 65% of you according to our reopening survey). Please let your remote coach know when you plan to attend in person training sessions and which days you would like remote coaching. While we are excited to throw open our doors and welcome you all with open arms, any member with signs and symptoms of illness will not be permitted into the building and we must still keep our 6 feet of physical distance. No hugs, no high fives, no knuckle bumps. AIR HUGS only please;) You are not required to wear a mask and you are encouraged to wear one if you prefer. We will not mock, tease or make anyone feel uncomfortable for wearing a mask. True Spirit CrossFit will remain a safe, bully-free place. Only 2 people at a time are allowed in the athlete changing room. Please arrive to class ready for your training session. Be in your workout clothes and have your shoes ready. Only people enrolled in the training session are allowed in the gym. No one else is allowed in the gym. We have a limited training schedule to allow the coaches to sanitize the gym between training sessions. We have eliminated back to back training sessions for now. Next week's training schedule is listed in the image above. Training sessions are restricted to 8 people. Members will not share equipment. If you do not RSVP for a session (or tell your coach in advance so they can enroll you) you are NOT ALLOWED to attend that session. Training sessions that have less than 2 people RSVP by 5pm the day before it is scheduled will be cancelled. When you look up a session time on your Pike13 app or our schedule it will show spaces remaining. Coaches will have a workout station set up for each person enrolled. These stations will maintain 6 feet of recommended social distancing and provide over 36sqft of workout space. Each station will have all of the equipment needed for the training session laid for each person enrolled. Each workout station will be equipped with a bin that contains a personal whiteboard, whiteboard pens, liquid hand chalk, liquid hand sanitizer, a spray bottle of disinfectant and a stack of paper towels. Members will disinfect all equipment used after each training session. Coaches will mop workout areas with disinfectant after each training session. The entire gym will be cleaned with disinfectant at the end of each day. Please return all the equipment you borrowed on Monday. If you plan to continue with remote coaching on the days you can't make it to the gym you can keep, for now, your dumbbells and jump rope. Of course, if plan to continue solely with remote coaching you can keep your equipment. Make sure you communicate with your remote coach. We will remain on a limited training session schedule for two weeks then evaluate attendance. We will continue to evaluate attendance every three weeks. We will add training sessions as attendance increases and we will pause training sessions that fall below 4 people.
