Today we begin our gymnastics pressing progression. For the next month we will work to improve our handstand push-ups, dips and pistols. Don't worry, you will continue to have opportunities to work on your pulling progressions in Goals and Goats.
It's been terrific seeing so many of you improve your pulling gymnastics skills. We are excited to see your equal improvement in your pressing movements.
We are retesting The Baseline today. The Baseline is a great test of your sprint work capacity. It's also a great workout for doing unscaled push-ups and pull-ups for the first time. The reps are low and your energy level is still high by the time to you get these movements. Have fun!
5 Rounds of gymnastics pressing progression: Pick an item from each list to work on. Move on to the next difficulty level when you can easily achieve your current level.
