Today's Mobility Monday focus is on getting us ready to run. You may have noticed that we are running at least once a week. We are running more to get us all ready for long hikes and backpacking trips, to enjoy CrossFit outside, and to get us ready for Memorial Day Murph.
Many of us hate running. We hate it because is hurts or we are not very good at it. Just like Olympic weightlifting, running is a skill that needs to be developed. The first step in getting ready to run, is to make sure your tissues are mobile and strong enough to support you while you run. Watch today's MWod video, and the rest of the video series, to learn some mobility and movement techniques to get you ready to run.
Want to run more? Talk to Coach James. He is a CrossFit Endurance trainer and is interested in developing a regular running group through the gym.
