Words have power and I write every Thursday about techniques and strategies you can use to create a positive mindset.
A small switch in your vocabulary can go a long way toward changing your mindset.
Here are some word switches that can have positive impact on your outlook:
Eager instead of anxious
Curious instead of afraid
Different instead of terrible
I will instead of I'll try
I get to instead of I have to
Using daily affirmations are another great way to embrace positive change and improve your mindset.
Here are three to try:
I am enough.
I give myself space to grow and learn.
I give myself permission to do what is right for me.
Use daily affirmations to help give yourself encouragement to make positive changes in your life. Write them down in a journal, repeat them in your head upon walking up, or if you’re feeling bold, say them aloud in front of the mirror like this cute little girl named Jessica!
Of course, it wouldn't be #foodiefriday without a delicious recipe you can make over the weekend. Since we're on the theme of growing and learning, and it's Easter weekend, here's an advanced recipe, courtesy of Bon appetit, you can make this Easter Sunday that will delight your family and help you grow as a cook. Enjoy!
