Today our MWod video will help you unglue your low back and psoas. These muscles can get hot and fired-up with jumping, and we are doing lots of jumping today!
Notice our box jumps are taller than normal, tall box jumps work on explosiveness, coordination and confidence. Lots of us focus on our take-off, but pay little attention to our landing on top of the box.
It's important to land softly and in an upright, athletic position. Landing softy shows you have body control and reduces the stress on your knees, heel cords and calves. Think like a cat or ninja today. You don't hear them pounding on the ground when they land. Your goal today is to land quietly and in control, keeping good body tension, and standing up tall to finish the movement.
