The deadlift is unparalleled in its ability for developing strength. It certainly works all of the posterior chain muscles (back of your legs, butt and back), but it's also terrific for developing core strength. There is simply no way you can pick something heavy off the floor without engaging your core muscles. Today you'll get plenty of work on your core. You're welcome:-)
