Today we honor Corporal Duane Hansen. He joined the United States Army in 2001. It was during his military medical indoctrination that he discovered we was color blind. Duane served 8 years in the US Army as an Administrative Specialist.
He was deployed for 343 days to Baghdad in 2005 during Operation Iraq Freedom where he worked for General Granger, Surgeon General of Iraq in OIF III. He helped all the subordinate hospitals and clinics manage goods not ordered through normal Army Channels, such as computers, SUVs, and CAT Scanners. In the US, he was a Reservist who worked as a Unit Administrator for several Montana units, the 125th Ordinance Battalion, based in Billings, and the 592nd Ordinance Company based in Butte, deployed to Ft Carson. He spent his last year with the 4225th US Army Hospital based in Helena. Today we honor Duane with Hansen's Hammer 8 Rounds for Time to honor his years of service 4 heavy deadlifts to honor his rank, E-4 4 8-count body builder to honor his rank and time in service Rest 2 Mins, then With a Partner 3.43KM Row - partners switch rowing as needed - 3.43km to honor each day he was deployed in Iraq.
