Our next challenge is a Beyond the Whiteboard (BTWB) Fitness Level Challenge. For the next 8 weeks, starting on Nov. 10 and ending on Jan. 5, we will track our workouts on BTWB, and the top three athletes with the most improved fitness levels will win a prize. In the event of a tie, the person with the highest fitness level will win. THIS CHALLENGE IS FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE!
During the challenge, we will program workouts specifically used by BTWB to calculate your Fitness Level. Your Fitness Level is comprised of your WOD results in 8 fitness categories: power lifts, Olympic lifts, speed workouts, endurance workouts, bodyweight workouts, light workouts, heavy workouts and long workouts. All WODs need to be completed as prescribed (Rx'd.) Don't fret, however, runs, rows, lifts, etc., are all done as prescribed and can be entered as such. This is about your best effort. Try not to get caught up with your ability to complete something as Rx'd.
You can expect at least 1-2 Fitness Level WODs every week. However, we will not announce which workouts are the ones used by BTWB. You just need to show up to as many classes as you can, and log them into BTWB. Your Fitness Level is updated weekly. If you don't have a BTWB account, email Coach Leslie. Today you will do either the CrossFit Total or the Baseline. Both of these WODs are used to calculate your BTWB Fitness Level. Be sure to record them in BTWB. We will repeat these WODs quarterly. You'll certainly want to track your progress.
