As I wrote about in this week's #wellnesswednesday blog, our New Year nutrition goal is to eat 1g of protein for every pound of lean body mass. On Wednesday I discussed the importance of protein supplementation. However, the best sources of protein come from real, whole foods. Eating your protein is the very best way to get enough of it.
I'm sharing one of my very favorite winter stews, Mulligatawny, from one of my very favorite food writers, Mellisa Joulwan. This stew has a bright flavor that chases away any winter chill. If you've seen the forecast you know that winter is (finally) coming. It's supposed to be frigid next week. You'll want a tasty stew like this one to warm your bones.
