Today starts our "We're Open In August" challenge. This is our third year doing this challenge. What is it you ask? For the next 5 Tuesdays we are repeating, in order, the 2018 CrossFit Games Open workouts. We like to do this in August because by now you may have forgotten how much "fun" these workouts are (kind of like how you forget the pain of childbirth), it's the dog days of summer and we need a little kick in the rear to get our fitness routine back in gear, and you may have done these workouts as RX'd or Scaled and you want to try a different version. For example, you did these workouts as Rx'd during The Open to score more points for your Intramural Team, but if you do them scaled you might get further into the workout. Alternatively, you may have done them all scaled and you want to see if you can do the Rx'd weights or movements. Either choice is fine. It's your chance to test your fitness. Be sure watch today's Technique Tuesday video for tips on Open Workout 18.1.
