Tomorrow starts our Spring Whole Life Challenge. The WLC is more than a nutrition challenge, but of course, we know that nutrition is the base of a healthy life. Our nutrition prescription is to eat whole, unprocessed foods. While food is the most important component of a healthy life, it is often the thing we prioritize the least. This can be due to our busy schedules, our lack of cooking knowledge, or just decision fatigue at the end of a long stressful day. That's why I love Well Fed's "Five Paleo Dinners to Cook Next Week."
You know by now that Well Fed is one of my favorite Paleo recipe resources. I have all three Well Fed cookbooks and I receive the "Five Paleo Dinners to Cook Next Week" weekly email newsletter every Thursday morning. This gives me plenty of time to gather all of my ingredients and get organized.
Most Sundays I do a big cook-up for the week, then I do another mini-cook-up on Wednesday evening. This twice weekly cook-up habit has helped me prioritize healthy nutrition and ensures I won't make a poor choice because of decision fatigue, stress, or time constraints.
