We're in week 3 of the CrossFit Games Open! Team Night Owls surged ahead last week with an impressive 30 point lead over Team Early Birds. Will they be able to stay in the lead this week?
Two of the new services we've provided all our members this year are body fat measurements and personalized macronutrient calculations based on weight, body fat and activity level. We know that most everyone wants to look better naked and to look good you need to eat well. Measuring your food and eating according to your macros can provide structure to your diet and help you meet your body composition goals. Probably the hardest part of a daily or weekly eating plan is the actual plan. Eating is easy:-) Planning out your daily or weekly meals can be downright daunting! That's why I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Eat This Much website: eatthismuch.com.
Eat this Much will tell you, based on the inputs you select, exactly how much to eat and what to eat. It will also give you meal plans, grocery lists, and it will personalize these if you choose Paleo, Keto, Vegan, Vegetarian, or Mediterranean options. This is seriously one of the coolest and most useful free macro websites/apps I have come across. Here's a fun video on how it works.
Here's an example of a daily meal plan based on my macros. What's really cool is that when I click on each meal a little pop-up menu will show me the macros breakdown, how much time it will take to prepare each meal and provide me with a recipe. It's so fantastic!
If I don't like any of the options provided I just ask it to recalculate and I get a new menu. So, struggle no more with figuring out what to eat every day. Use Eat This Much and make your daily meal planning a breeze. Tell me in the comments if you use it and how it worked for you!
