Oh thrusters! Some of us hate them and some of us actually love them. Thrusters tax your endurance and stamina, they force you to work on your wrist and shoulder mobility and they demand a strong core and explosive hip drive. Basically, they work your entire body and all of your metabolic pathways. No wonder they often pop-up in our programming and are guaranteed to be in every CrossFit Open. We're hosting a Halloween party! This is not your usual Halloween costume party. Oh no! This is the Night of the Living Deadlift lifting party!
We invite all you zombies, ghouls, goblins, witches, and lovers of gore to see you who can pull the most from the floor.
A $5 buy-in is requested from all lifters. Cash will be pooled at the end of the night for prizes. We're looking for the best male, female, master and partner deadlift (mixed partners included.) You MUST be in costume to compete:-)
We retain the right to include a few tricks on our deadlift night.
