Our #getout in May challenge is officially underway! This challenge is part scavenger hunt, part local history tour, part naturalist adventure and all kinds of fun. To participate, you need to record your outdoor adventures in Strava and attach photos of you adventuring or of the things you find. Strava is a free app (though the premium upgrade is pretty sweet) that easily records all of your human powered adventures. You can walk, hike, run, ride or even row and Strava will record it all and make you a pretty map at the end of your adventure. Here's an example. As you can see, Strava also has a social component and our TSCF community can give you kudos and comments on your adventures. It's another way to engage with our community while maintaining your physical distance. Yesterday, I have you a bonus challenge, go for a walk, run or ride in the shape of a heart. Today, you can choose your own adventure from our list below. Notice at the VERY top of the list is to attend a TSCF outdoor workout. We are meeting at Bogert Park today (Saturday) at 9am for a 6 foot physically distanced workout in the park. We will provide exercise mats and hand sanitizer. We ask that you bring your own weighted object (DBs, KB, slam ball, or sand bag.) It looks like we'll gave more than 9 folks so we will split into groups and spread out. Can't wait to see you...from a 6 foot distance.
