Matt busts out some pull-ups.
Will winter ever end? Will we finally get a Spring in Montana. Probably not! Since it's still winter, even though technically it's Spring, here's a delicious soup full of yummy vegetables. Vegetables! Wait, I thought we're all Paleo. Of course, we eat Paleo. Recall our Paleo definition: Eat meat, vegetables, nuts & seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Vegetables are super important and we need to eat more of them.
The second component of our CrossFit nutrition plan is: Keep intake to levels that support exercise but not body fat. Sounds simple doesn't it? It's astonishing how quickly we can screw it up.
Today's Foodie Friday recipe will help you eat all the vegetables, support exercise and not body fat. Woohoo! It's a Win-Win. It's a recipe from my all time favorite Paleo food blogger, Well Fed. Please enjoy her Italian Vegetable Soup. Click on the image below for the recipe.
This delicious soup is compliant on all 3 Whole Life Challenge nutrition levels. Why not get a jump start of your Spring Whole Life Challenge by doubling this recipe and freezing half? You'll have some meals ready to defrost when you start the Spring Whole Life Challenge next Saturday. April 14. Click on the image below to sign up for the challenge.
