This week's healthy lifestyle challenge is to identify things in our life for which we are grateful. A daily gratitude practice empowers us to live in the moment and take stock of all the positive aspects of our lives. Living in this positive frame of mind will bring in more positivity.
Sometimes, we can get bogged down with the daily stressors in our lives. Often, stress arrises from wanting things to be different. Gratitude changes us to be grateful for what we have instead of thinking about what we want. When we become thankful for what we have, rather than complain about what we don't have, we focus on the everyday blessings present in our lives.
