Wooohooo! It's Foodie Friday AND week 2 of the CrossFit Games Open. We are so psyched we so many people participating in the our Intramural Open. Here is how our two teams stand going into Open Workout 18.2
Team Big has a 30 point lead over Team Little. Team Little can make up the difference if they can get 6 people to take the online CrossFit Judges course.
Remember, you earn points as follows:
1 Point for completing the Open workout
1 Point for attending Friday Night Lights
3 Points for finishing in top 3 Rx'd or Scaled
2 Points for getting a PR or doing something for the first time
5 Points for Spirit of the Open - Awarded at the conclusion of each Friday Night Lights and determined by consensus to coaches and Team Captains.
Post-workout nutrition is an important topic I have previously blogged about. A solid post-workout meal will help you recover and set you up to crush your next workout. The post-workout meal is the ideal time to eat a little bit of starch. The starch is readily metabolized by your body and used to replenish your glycogen.
