12/2 Foodie Friday
Sarah A. does a chin-up. A chin-up (palms face toward you) is a great way to work toward a pull-up (palms face away). Oftentimes you will get a chin-up before a pull-up. Both are great in our opinion!
Today is Foodie Friday! On the menu today is Roasted Pumpkin and Chorizo Salad. We got this recipe from The Splendid Table. The Splendid Table is a delightful radio show from American Public Media. You can listen every Sunday at 9am on Yellowstone Public Radio.
Roasted Pumpkin and Chorizo Salad
Place the pumpkin and eschalots on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper and drizzle with the oil. Roast for 25 minutes, add the chorizo, tomato and marjoram to the tray and roast for a further 15 minutes or until the pumpkin is soft and the chorizo is golden and crisp.
Place the spinach, tomato, pumpkin, chorizo, eschalots and pan juices in a bowl with the dressing and toss gently to combine. Divide between plates to serve.

Today's workout is a great test of our metabolic engines and our gymnastic skills. We've been working our dips and pull-ups for a few weeks now. It's a great opportunity to see if our usual scalings of ring rows, knee pull-ups, push-ups to a bar, or a box are easier
