Today starts our week of (re)testing our fitness. The first (re)test is The Baseline. Many of you have done The Baseline. We did it at True Spirit CrossFit & Yoga on July 16th. For some of you this will be your first Baseline. This workout was created by Andy Petranek, founder of CrossFit LA, and is used around the world as a test of fitness. Do you remember your first Baseline workout? I do. I went home, puked, took a nap, and scheduled my next CrossFit class!
Be sure to check out today's MWod video to improve your rowing position at the catch. Better compression at the catch will help you develop more power in the drive. We will do these banded distractions as part of our Baseline warm-up today.
